Walking around Ikea today with my youngest son made me realise that I am eagerly anticipating the newest Ikea catalogue, which is due to come out in Australia starting on the 23rd of August, 2015.
There are some fun looking new items that you can see on the American Catalogue here. Of course, I can’t find a link to the new catalogue for us poor plebs in Australia, but the American catalogue at least gives us an idea about what to expect from our favourite home furnishing store.
I remember when the catalog most anticipated was the Sears Christmas catalog. Especially the section chock-full of the newest Star Wars toys! Of course now I’m a grown-up with a family of my own and my concerns are more utilitarian. My catalog mania now is all about storage units and kitchen countertops. Â Actually I can’t wait for the IKEA catalog to come out because I need to buy another storage box to fill with my catalogs full of storage units!
I love looking through the IKEA catalogue even if I don’t need more new furniture or storage. That book is just so chock full of good ideas it’s hard not to be enthralled by it!
